Dukakis, Pendleton Read "Toreadors" Tonight

In a one-night engagement, Olympia Dukakis and Austin Pendleton will read from Jean Anhouil's "Waltz of the Toreadors." The reading takes place tonight at 8pm at Pen & Brush, Inc., 16 East 10th Street, NYC.

A story of love, lust, and possession, "Waltz of the Toreadors" follows a general (Pendleton) whose mistress attempts to prove his wife's (Dukakis) infidelity.

Dukakis' most notable credits include the films "Moonstruck" (for which she won an Academy Award) and "Mr. Holland's Opus" Onstage, she won Obies for "A Man's A Man" and "The Marriage of Bette and Boo." Actor, director and playwright Pendleton, also an Obie winner, recently performed alongside Natalie Portman in Broadway's "The Diary of Anne Frank."

Pendleton's latest directorial piece, "Three Days of Rain," is scheduled to open May 28th, to be produced by 3Days Repertory, also producer of this reading. For further information, call 212-465-7526.
