Holding Equity principal auditions for Edward Albee's "The Play About the Baby." Elizabeth McCann, prod'r; David Esbjornson, dir.; Jerry Beaver, casting dir. Auditions will be held at Jerry Beaver Casting, 215 Park Ave. So. (btwn. 17 & 18 sts.), Ste. 1704, NYC. Everyone should prepare a short contemporary monologue. EQ. OFF-B'WAY CONTRACT.

Seeking principals and understudies for the following roles—Boy: Caucasian, should read early 20s, intelligent and emotionally open and vulnerable, even innocent, physically attractive, strong, firm body, clean, open face, not chiseled, tough, or angular, must have excellent language skills, some nudity required; Girl: Caucasian, early 20s, same openness, emotional range and exceptional language skills, centered, generous, clear-headed and strong, natural woman's body suited to childbearing, some nudity required. Also seeking understudies for the following roles—Man: seeking understudy to Brian Murray, 50s-60s, charming, self-possessed, dangerous, with a flair for the theatrical, should be very comfortable interacting with the audience, must have strong language skills and comic timing; Woman: seeking understudy to Marion Seldes, 50s-60s, striking, handsome, also full of charm, energy, and physical ease, witty, ironic, and sexy, strong language skills and solid sense of comedy required.
