Sean Taylor has joined Actors' Equity Association as Central regional director/assistant executive director. Taylor had served as house council for the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists since 2004, and remained a member of the union's staff following its merger last year with Screen Actors Guild.
“We are thrilled to have Sean Taylor join the Equity family,” Equity Executive Director Mary McColl said in a written statement. “His extensive union experience, coupled with a legal career with deep professional roots in the Chicago-area make him the ideal leader for the region.”
Taylor will oversee Equity's operations in 16 states. He succeeds Christine Provost, who left the union in August.
