The woodstock fringe organization is thinking green to make green: money, that is.
The group has announced a fundraising event following this year's Festival of Theatre and Song: a garden party. The event will be held in the fringe's garden, hopefully in full summer bloom, located just outside Woodstock in Lake Hill.
The party will feature food, wine, and entertainment.
woodstock fringe is the producer of the annual theatre festival, which will start this year on Aug. 1 and run through Labor Day. A free, two-hour play slam play slam will open the event on May 27 at The Byrdcliffe Theatre.
The group hopes to announce its upcoming season at the end of May.
The garden party will be held Saturday, July 15. For more info, visit www.woodstockfringe.org.
