Get Your Money First, Says SAG-AFTRA
SAG-AFTRA has reached a confidential agreement with the delinquent Cimarron Productions, Inc., but with a public caveat.

The union publicized a Do Not Work order late last week against the company, which is also known as The Cimarron Group, as it was in default of its respective SAG and AFTRA agreements for failing to pay its performers. Moreover, it had failed to make pension and health contributions due under the SAG Agreement and Health and Retirement contributions due under the AFTRA Agreement.

After making an initial payment to the union, SAG-AFTRA told its members they could resume providing services, but warned to get their money up front.

It published this notice on its website: "SAG-AFTRA MEMBERS MAY NOW PROVIDE SERVICES TO THIS COMPANY – PRE-PAYMENT IS REQUIRED FOR ALL NEW WORK."

A SAG-AFTRA spokeswoman declined further comment.

Cimarron, which has offices in Hollywood, Beijing, and Singapore, produces entertainment and marketing content, including network and cable specials, as well as DVD commentary, according to its website.

Both parties have agreed to keep the final details of the settlement confidential.
