Hickey Honored for AIDS Activism

John Benjamin Hickey, who won a Tony Award for his performance in the 2011 Broadway revival of "The Normal Heart," will be honored by the Treatment Action Group for his contributions to AIDS research and activism.

On Sunday, Dec. 11, at New York City's Midtown Loft, Hickey will be one of the three recipients of this year's Research in Action Awards, along with Dr. Robert F. Siliciano and Dr. Polly Harrison.
