Saturday night saw two ceremonies honoring below-the-line America talent: the Cinema Editors' 63rd annual ACE Eddie Awards awarded editors, while the 49th annual Cinema Audio Society Awards were also held. The last weekend before the Academy Awards is a packed one; the Writers Guild of America (WGA) Awards are Sunday night. The big film winners at the Eddie Awards were "Argo" for drama film and "Silver Linings Playbook" for comedy/musical film. Over at the CAS Awards, "Les Misérables" won the top prize for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing for live action motion pictures.
