Industry Anti-Piracy Group Makes Media Push
Creative America, an entertainment industry coalition formed in July to combat content piracy, announced today that it has launched a new campaign that includes a redesigned website and 60-second public service announcements to air on NBCUniversal television networks.

Creative America also announced that several new organizations have offered public support for the organization, including the AFL-CIO, the Association of Talent Agents, the Copyright Alliance, Deluxe Entertainment Services Group, FilmL.A., the National Association of Theatre Owners, the Producers Guild of America, and the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and the Screen Actors Guild are among the organization's founding members.

"Since Creative America was launched, it has produced a growing community of people deeply concerned about the effect that content theft is having on American jobs and creativity," Mike Nugent, executive director of Creative America, said in a written statement. "Once people understand the scope and enormity of this problem, they want to take action."
