"Dr. Seuss' The Lorax," a children's tale with a pro-environment message, topped the weekend box office for Mar. 2-4, 2012, by grossing more than $70 million. Featuring the voices of Danny DeVito, Zac Efron, and Taylor Swift, the animated tale beat its raunchy competition, "Project X," which focused on three teenagers throwing a wild party in an attempt to be cool. The previous weekend's box office champ, "Act of Valor," slid down to third place with $13.7 million.
