Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival

Established in 1983, this event has grown from a weekend gathering to a major showcase for the best of Asian Pacific American and Asian international cinema. Panels, seminars, and features on such diverse subjects as filmmaking in China, Japanese-Canadian culture in Vancouver, and a gay Asian father's custody battle are on offer May 10-20.
