Alex Taylor, Teacher and Coach, Sanford Meisner Studio

Alex Taylor is honored to have been voted favorite private acting coach and favorite monologue coach in Back Stage's 2010 Los Angeles Readers' Choice Awards. He is the owner of the Sanford Meisner Studio, the only school working with Sanford Meisner's estate.

Alex focuses on demystifying the acting process and encourages actors to play. He teaches a simple, direct, brick-by-brick technique. He challenges actors to see beyond their fears and grow into confident artists with tools that allow them to be prepared for any role in any medium.
