Not much originality went into this pick, but if you live in L.A. and don't go to the 19th annual West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval, you're boring. Why pass up the opportunity to join 500,000 of your closest friends in watching Kevin Federline humiliate himself (again) at 9:45 p.m. on the KIIS stage? Or to see Tiffany perform her single hit at 9:30 p.m. on the KBIG stage? (Our money's on Tiffany drawing a larger crowd.) If that doesn't inspire you to throw on a cheap mask and prance around, there's the Drag Race and Pageant, with real drag queens, and the Annual Pet Halloween Costume Contest.
>> Santa Monica Boulevard between La Cienega and Doheny. Tue. 6 p.m.-midnight. Oct. 31. Free. www.halloweenwesthollywood.com.
