The New York State Council on the Arts is moving into new downtown offices at 175 Varick Street, according to Margaret Keta, NYSCA's public information officer.
Personnel are scheduled to move from the old offices at 915 Broadway at the end of this week. The agency will be closed Mon., Feb. 11 and Tues., Feb. 12, to re-activate its computer system, then will re-open Wed., Feb. 13 at the new site.
FY2002-03 grant applications (due by March 1) must be mailed or delivered to 175 Varick Street. Applicants can download NYSCA's guidelines and application forms from its website at www.nysca.org. Applications must be postmarked on or before the March 1st deadline. Hand-delivered applications must arrive by 6 p.m. on the due date. The agency won't accept faxes, emails and metered mail.
