On Mon., Oct. 30, Pier 60 (Chelsea Piers, 23 St. and the Hudson River) will play host to a gala benefit for the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation. The black tie event will be a 90th birthday tribute to Cy Feuer, Chairman of the Board of the League of American Theatres and Producers. It is presented by the league, the Society of Stage Directors, and Choreographers and its foundation.
With his partner, Ernest H. Martin, Feuer produced "Where's Charley?" "Guys and Dolls," "Can-Can," "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," "Little Me," "The Boy Friend," and numerous other Broadway productions. He has acted as producer for several films, including "Cabaret," "A Chorus Line," "Where's Charley?" and "Piaf." In addition, his credits in film include acting as composer and musical director.
