"Once" and "One Man, Two Guvnors" tied for the most citations from the 62nd annual Outer Critics Circle Awards with three each. "Once" was voted best Broadway musical as well as having the best book and best director of a musical. "One Man" won for best Broadway play. Its star James Corden was named best actor in a play, and Nicholas Hytner was acclaimed as best director of a play. The organization divides the categories of best musical and play between Broadway and Off-Broadway. All other categories consider both venues together.

The Outer Critics Circle is an organization of writers and commentators who cover New York theater for out-of-town publication and national media.  A special award, which was announced earlier, was presented to the Public Theater to honor the 50th anniversary of its Shakespeare in the Park program at the Delacorte Theatre.

The awards will be presented on May 24 at Sardi's Restaurant. A complete list of nominees, with the winner marked by an asterisk, is below.
