Rock the Audition: A Pop/Rock Master Class with Sheri Sanders

So, you've got the rock song. But all you know how to sing are show tunes. Now what? The Screen Actors Guild Foundation invites members to join master teacher Sheri Sanders for an afternoon dedicated to the pop/rock audition. Sheri will talk about rock musical and musical television show auditions, song selection, time period, vocal styling, storytelling and more in a one-hour discussion, followed by an hour of song performance with feedback from randomly selected attendees.

A small number of attendees will have an opportunity to showcase and receive feedback on a 16-32 bar cut of a pop or rock song during the second half of the seminar. A raffle will be held mid-seminar and the selected singers will have 10 minutes to warm-up. Please bring sheet music in the correct key if you would like to be considered for the singing portion. An accompanist will be provided.
