SAG's animation negotiating committee recommended the contracts for immediate ratification without a membership referendum, and the guild's national executive committee approved them.
The deals include annual wage increases of 3%, followed by 3.5% in the second year; a 0.5% increase in pension contributions; and new-media terms in line with those included in the TV/theatrical contract ratified in June. All other terms match those in the new TV/theatrical agreement.
"We are pleased to have concluded these negotiations and to have arrived at a fair deal that delivers solid economic gains for our members," SAG said Tuesday in a statement. "Screen Actors Guild members working in these areas now have the benefit of negotiated compensation increases, an improved pension contribution rate and a template for compensation in new media."
"We welcome the ratification of these new agreements covering Screen Actors Guild talent in both broadcast animation and basic cable animation," the AMPTP said, "These contracts will help to ensure continued production and employment, which is especially critical in today's economy."
The two animation agreements are retroactive to June 10, 2009, and expire June 30, 2011, the same day as the TV/theatrical contract.
