SAG will honor longtime member Scott Wilson with the Ralph Morgan Award for more than 40 years of service to its membership.
Wilson, who has served on SAG task forces and occasionally in temporary board capacities, has such film credits as "The Great Gatsby" and "The Right Stuff" and has appeared on TV shows, including numerous episodes of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." He will be feted May 19 at SAG's midyear membership meeting at the Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City.
"Scott's contributions to the guild and its members are a testament to the qualities inscribed on the award: 'devotion to the cause of actors, courage to fight for the right (and) sacrifice of self for others,' " said Paul Napier, chair of SAG's honors and tributes committee.
Previous recipients of the award, given periodically for distinguished service, include Ed Asner and Dennis Weaver.
