Beginning Tuesday, Nov. 17, a new cast of Christine Lahti, Annie Potts, Jimmy Smits, and Ken Stott will take to the stage in the Tony-winning play "God of Carnage," the producers announced Oct. 15.

Stott is returning to the role of Michael, which he created during the show's London premiere. The original cast of the Broadway run, which began March 22, starred Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini, and Marcia Gay Harden.

Written by Yasmina Reza, the Broadway production of "Carnage" won the Tony Award for best play and best direction of a play (Matthew Warchus), while the West End version took the 2009 Olivier Award for best new comedy.

Billed as a "comedy of manners without the manners," the play deals with the aftermath of a playground altercation between two boys as their parents meet to talk about the incident.
