Theatre Communications Group (TCG) has assembled over 150 artistic directors, administrative managers, and board trustees for the organization's fall conference, "Dollars and Sense: Leadership and Governance in 2003," commencing Fri., Nov. 14.
Tavern on the Green will play host for the first event of the weekend, when Mark Moore, director of the Hauser Center for Nonprofit Organizations at Harvard University, addresses the attendees with a Friday night keynote speech. The conference continues Saturday at the American Airlines Theatre, and ends Sun., Nov. 16.
Discussion topics include how to motivate a board, succession issues, indicators of a theatre's fiscal health, and advocacy. The conference will include guest speakers, panel discussions, and breakout sessions that will allow small groups to engage in specific dialogues.
