Philip Galinsky is co-creator of the MMSlam and co-host with his brother, Robert. Philip has appeared on Comedy Central, MTV, ESPN Classic, A&E, and USA networks. Currently he plays Hyman in the feature film David & Layla, a heartfelt romantic comedy starring Shiva Rose. Philip most recently had a guest spot on the TV show Cheap Seats. He just showcased Flight of the Bumblebee in NYC, a two-person play written by and starring Philip & Natasha Price. He plays Andrew (the lead) in the feature Too Much Sleep, for which he was nominated for Best Director at the Independent Spirit Awards. Philip is a member of SAG.
Robert Galinsky is co-creator of the MMSlam and co-host with his brother, Philip. Robert is currently directing the one-woman show Barry White Saved My Life, written and performed by Charmaine Reedy. Galnsky has been nominated for a Gold World Award at the New York International Film Festival, and Back Stage has called his acting "extraordinary and effortless," while High Times Magazine writes that Galinsky is "manic, deadpan, and takes aim with psychotic precision." He has appeared on stage throughout New York. Galinsky freelances as a producer and director with the National Geographic Channel, Time Out, and The Ford Foundation, among others. Robert is a member of SAG and the Dramatist Guild.
