This summer, the TV Guide Network will showcase some of today's best established and up-and-coming female comics in its new comedy program "StandUp in Stilettos," an original weekly stand-up series hosted by Kate Flannery, who plays Meredith Palmer on NBC's "The Office."

Each of the 10 half-hour episodes of "StandUp in Stilettos" will include three stand-up comedians whose acts feature material for, by, and about women. The show will be shot in front of a live audience in a comedy club. Casting begins immediately, with production scheduled for late April. "StandUp in Stilettos" will premiere on Saturday, June 16 at 10 p.m. on TV Guide Network.

"We are continuing to invest in original series and exclusive programming that will draw entertainment fans closer to their favorite stars,” Allen Shapiro, Chairman of TV Guide Network, said in a statement. "'StandUp in Stilettos'… will offer viewers fresh comedy programming with some of the best-known celebrities in Hollywood today, as well as up-and-coming talent."

Flannery is best known for playing Dunder Mifflin’s alcoholic and accident prone Meredith Palmer on NBC’s "The Office." She is a former member of Second City's National Tour Co. and an original member of Chicago’s Annoyance Theater, where she co-created more than 15 shows including "The Miss Vagina Pageant" and "The Real Live Brady Bunch," which played in over 30 cities and at the Kennedy Center. Flannery is also one half of the comedy lounge act “The Lampshades,” which performs regularly across the country.

UPDATE: According to the show's executive producer, "StandUp in Stilettos" will shoot April 24-26 in Hollywood. For more information and to submit your stand-up comedy reel, view the full casting notice on BackStage.com. (Subscription required.)
