Tyler Perry's CD Casting Web Series
Tyler Perry's casting director, Kim Williams, is casting a major role in "The Hill," a new dramatic web series she is co-producing with director Carlos Ramos, Jr.

Williams and Ramos are casting an African-American male in his 20s to play the lead role of Cheeks, a cop on the gritty streets of his native Milwaukee. The character is described as a "focused, hardworking, and steady" man who "will do whatever it takes to realize his dreams." The series begins filming in February in Los Angeles. Williams has been the casting director for Tyler Perry Productions' many film and TV projects including "Meet the Browns," "Daddy's Little Girls," "Diary of a Mad Black Woman," and "Madea's Family Reunion." She has also cast the animated series "The Boondocks," Damon Wayans's "My Wife and Kids," and other shows and made-for-TV movies. Williams previously served as Director of Casting for both HBO and Fox Broadcasting Company, where she oversaw casting of a variety of films and television series.
