Gregg Smith Casting will hold an open call for a musical extravaganza. Prod. Angelo Medina, Alberto Perez, art. Dir. Jamie King. Rehearsals start Nov. 20. Six-month contracts start Feb. 1 at a major Las Vegas resort hotel. There is pay.

Breakdown—Featured singers: two males and two females, 18-35, any ethnicity, contemporary pop/rock style, movie star looks, recording star voices; Featured male actor: 18-28, any ethnicity, to play house-style DJ/emcee, good-looking, urban, hip, great body, cool speaking voice and delivery, able to move well; Ensemble dancers: males and females, 18-28, any ethnicity, great bodies, able to handle street, club, jazz, ballet styles equally well, gymnastic ability a plus; Drummers: males and females, 18-30, any ethnicity, percussion, conga, etc., great bodies, able to move well; Specialty performers: males and females, 18-40, any ethnicity, aerial performers, trapeze, web, rope, bungee, fire jugglers, acrobats, etc.

Singers prepare a pop/rock power ballad, bring sheet music or chart. Drummers conga at audition. Aerial or performers requiring rigging bring tape in, interview only.

Open call will be held Wed., Sept. 20, 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. for singers; and Thurs., Sept. 21, 10 a.m.-12-noon for drummers and actors, 12-noon for female dancers, and 2 p.m. for male dancers at Backstage Dance Studio II, 3425 Backstage Blvd., Las Vegas. Open call will be held Fri., Sept. 22, 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. for gymnasts, acrobats, and jugglers at Brown Gymnastics, 4544 W. Russell Rd., Ste. C, Las Vegas. NON-UNION.
