The producers of "Billy Elliot The Musical" are holding another round of chorus calls for young girl dancers this weekend in New York City. Attend these auditions to be considered as a possible replacement in the cast, which is currently on tour in the U.S.

Nora Brennan Casting is seeking girls ages 8-12 who can dance and sing to play the "Ballet Girls" in Billy's dance class. The characters are described as "not the traditional ballerina" and can be a variety of sizes, shapes, and types. All dancers must be shorter than 4'10". One of the girls will play the principal role of Debbie, the daughter of Billy's dance teacher.

Auditions will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 10. This is an Equity chorus call, but children who are not Equity members are welcome to attend and will be seen after Equity actors, if time permits. For more information and audition details, view the full casting notice on BackStage.com. (Subscription required.)
