Weekend Box Office: 'Avengers' Continues to Break Records

"Marvel's The Avengers" continues to break box-office records. After annihilating the all-time weekend opening record last week, the action blockbuster claimed the prize for highest second weekend number with a take of $103 million. Worldwide, "Avengers" has taken in over $1 billion. "Dark Shadows," the Warner Brothers update of the campy 1960s soap opera, was a distant second at $29 million.
