"The Amazing Spider-Man," Sony's reboot of the web-slinging superhero franchise, crawled its way to the top of the box office, taking in $65 million during the weekend and $140 million in its first six days. The previous week's top film, Seth McFarlane's "Ted," slipped to number two with $33 million, and the animated adventure "Brave" came in third with $20 million.
