Career Highlights/Additional Info:

  • Alex is a professional dancer and choreographer from Nassau Bahamas who has excelled in many different styles of dance for over a decade. He studied with many choreographers who inspired him to become the finest professional in the art of dance. Because of his natural drive, determination, and passion, Alex chose to specialize in the style of jazz, contemporary and hip-hop dance. He continues to travel to many parts of The United States furthering his training and adding great depth to his unique style. He began his professional career at the Broadway Dance Center, located in New York City.
Alex obtained his first professional dance position with Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (RCCL) in 2007 where he remained loyal for eight years. While employed with RCCL, he performed in approximately twenty-five shows such as “Hairspray the Musical”, “Come Fly With Me”, “In the Air”, and many Cirque du Soleil style shows. He worked with Moment Factory, one of Canada’s biggest entertainment companies. Moment Factory specialized in the conception and production of multimedia environments combining video, lighting, architecture, sound, and special effects to create remarkable experiences. While employed on RCCL’s latest and most innovative ship, Quantum of the Seas, Alex was chosen to be in a unique creation unlike any other in the history of Royal Caribbean. He was the center point aerialist in the show “Starwater” where he mastered Royal Caribbean’s most difficult aerial apparatus, often requiring extreme full body control for long periods of time while being suspended at 60 feet in mid air.
As a former level 10 gymnast, Alex excelled in many competitions in the United States. Alex also shined as a boy’s gymnastics coach. He received his training by USA Gymnastics Region 8 Hall of Fame Coach Randy Fox who has worked with several notable gymnasts including Olympians and US National Champions Shannon Miller and Kristie Phillips. Combining his unique style of dance and gymnastics, Alex became a role model for many professional artists. He has been a highly respected guest instructor at workshops to many aspiring dancers at Virtuosity Performing Arts Studio in Camas Washington. Alex is also an editor who creates highly ranked dance reels in the online media community Answers4Dancers. He is a passionate, loyal, and dedicated artist who will always continue to grow in his abilities.
