Backstage Life With Alan H. Green of ‘School of Rock’

Alan H. Green has been rocking out since opening with Alex Brightman and company in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Broadway staging of “School of Rock.” He took us backstage at the Winter Garden Theatre to get a peek at preshow pushups, wig magic, and David Bowie tributes.

Bald folks sometimes have to put on a “Flashdance” headband so the wig can be pinned to something other than one’s bald head. Our hair supervisor, Renee Kelly, doing her thang.

A little preshow plank and pushup session, every show at half hour in the men’s locker room—I mean dressing room.
