Need advice because I am not booking.
“Hello, community. I audition a lot because I have an agent and a manager. This pilot season, I taped for several pilots (series regulars) and some episodic (guest stars and recurring guest stars). But I am not booking. Actually, I did not book in 2020, either. I am not getting callbacks, either. I work with a well-known acting coach that my manager recommended. I am frustrated and exhausted. Something is not working. I think I should change my entire team? Any advice?” —AuditionsAuditions
Show reel/self-tape too large to email, alternate methods?
“I often ( as I suppose many of us do) have to send multiple videos to employers. Does anyone have any reliable and cheap ways to make sure these clips reach the person I want them to, in the quality and size that I need to best represent myself? If anyone has any tips or anything, or any similar issues let me know! Thanks” —actingadamnfool
Colleges that focus on acting for TV/film?
“Hi everyone! My son is a Junior and is starting his list of potential colleges. He loves acting for TV/film, but not so much for theater. Seems like all of the performing arts majors are focused on stage acting for theater but he really wants to focus on acting for TV/film instead. Anyone know of colleges that have that as an option for a major or a minor? He doesn’t really like singing or dancing, but really enjoys acting. Anyone else in this same boat or have any suggestions? Thanks!” —supportiveparent
