Am I being a diva?
Dear Internet,

“Background (no pun intended) on me: I’ve done several background gigs before for big networks so I understand the many ways you have to roll with the punches as an extra. However, this one is different.

“In an application email recently, I had to answer, ‘Are you comfortable with interior scenes?’ I answered yes, but for ‘Are you comfortable with EXTERIOR scenes?’ I answered that I was not comfortable. I got my role and read that I’d be doing two indoor setting scenes. ‘Perfect! Thank you for reading, CD,’ I thought.

“I show up to holding, get into wardrobe/hair/makeup, and am told I’lll need a jacket for outside, so wardrobe found me one. The entire scene we filmed that night was exterior. So, you’re in my shoes. Do you roll with the punches? Do you show any self-respect for your preferences? Do you email casting?

“Because some may ask, the reason I didn't want to do exterior was all preference. I didn't want to be out in the cold. That night we all could barely feel our toes.” —Susqu_sgg

EMC Vs. nonunion?
I just became EMC and I’m curious if there are any line rules or sign up procedures I should be aware of. Advice is much appreciated!” —PettyBetch24601

ECC Rules for Equity?
“Hello, everyone! I always forget, is there a penalty if you’re an Equity member and you have a slot for an ECC and don’t cancel? Or is there a specific time you have to cancel by? Thank you!” —chickenmonkey
