Hey, Los Angeles actors! Stay in the loop and be sure to check back every week for projects currently in production in the place you call home. Here’s the 411 on what’s filming big and small in your city.

“Angelyne”
L.A.’s famous billboard diva is back home at last as NBC’s “Angelyne” is filming around town. The upcoming NBC streaming series stars Emmy Rossum as the titular Angelyne, the 1980s self-made starlet famous for being famous whose real identity was kept a secret until 2017 when The Hollywood Reporter ran an exposé and identified her as Renee Goldberg. The miniseries doesn’t yet have a release date (it will air on NBC’s upcoming Peacock service, which will be launched in April), but Rossum is already fully in character, seen on set in all pink and with an oversize blonde wig. “Six Feet Under” and “Lars and the Real Girl” writer Nancy Oliver is the series creator with Rossum, “Mr. Robot” creator Sam Esmail, and Angelyne herself executive producing.
