Atlanta Now Filming: Fox’s ‘The Gifted’ Season 2 and ‘The Passage’

“The Gifted”
Crews in Atlanta are back to work following Labor Day Weekend: Fox’s “The Gifted,” the series based on Marvel’s X-Men is wrapping up work before its second season. According to Atlanta’s NBC affiliate, 11 Alive, production signs for the series have been popping up around Midtown Atlanta. The second season is scheduled to premiere later this month on the 25th, but production is still in its final stages. They’ll be filming this week and next in the city, including on Sept. 10, according to a Backstage posting from Central Casting Georgia looking for men with interesting hairstyles. There’s still time to apply for this gig, so head over to the casting notice and show off your style!

“The Passage”
The pilot partially filmed in Atlanta a few months ago, and now that it’s been picked up to series, Fox’s “The Passage” is back in the area. The show, starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Saniyya Sidney, will follow an orphan girl who is possibly the only person able to stop a crisis after a botched U.S. government experiment turns a group of death row inmates into vampires. Production is scheduled to start this week with shoots in McDonough, Georgia. The production is still seeking actors who are least 6 feet tall to play bouncers on Sept. 10, so head over and apply now!
