“The Bobby DeBarge Story”
TV One’s “The Bobby DeBarge Story” has gotten its filming underway in Atlanta for its summer release, according to The A Scene. The biopic will follow Motown singer DeBarge, the lead singer of the group Switch and the eldest sibling in the world-famous pop group DeBarge, and will explore his tumultuous life. Roshon Fegan will play the lead, with Tuyra Ferrell and Adrian Marcel playing two of the DeBarge siblings. The film also stars Big Boi and Marie Burke, who both just finished their shooting yesterday judging by their recent Instagram posts. Radio personality Russ Parr is helming the TV flick from a script written by Norman Vance Jr. “Empire” casting director Leah Daniels-Butler and George Pierre are casting.
