Hear from the director and star of “First Man” at a special screening.
Awards season is heating up, and that means tons of screenings, Q&As, and more chances to see big contenders and the people who created them. Which means it’s an excellent time to soak in the advice and inspiration straight from those involved with Oscar hopefuls. Our pick this week? “First Man” at the Aero Theatre on Jan. 8, accompanied by a discussion with star Claire Foy and director Damien Chazelle. Hear how this elaborate and gorgeous biopic of astronaut Neil Armstrong came together; the intricate details of recreating Armstrong’s historic walk on the moon should be fascinating to hear in person.
