MEDICAL TRAINING VIDEOS
How does making up to $1,100 sound? Jan Pointer Production Company is looking for a total of 16 actors to play various patients for a series of interactive training videos. They’re seeking submissions from Los Angeles, New York City, Austin, and Chicago. (And if you don’t know about the medical acting market, check out this article!)
“THE LIGHTNING THIEF”
Rick Riordan’s hit young adult book series has been adapted into a musical by Rob Rokicki and Joe Tracz. This second touring company, led by Theatreworks/USA, will tour from January to June of next year. Triple threats, take note!
“FINTASTIC ADVENTURES”
Two California-based youngins are needed for an educational Web series “directed to ages 7 to 13 that promotes fish, aquarium products, and other associated products.” This gig pays $200 a day and provides meals, travel, and lodging.
ROCK*IT FILMS GLASSES COMMERCIAL
Due for an eye exam? Five actors are needed for three short, comedic scenes in a commercial for ROCK*iT FiLMS. Director-producer Ryan Gibeau will be shooting in early January and is offering $400 or $300 a day (or $150 a day if you’re a cat).
