North Shore Theatre Company is casting its production of the hit musical comedy “Avenue Q.” Talent, aged 18 or older, with strong singing and movement abilities, is wanted for the general cast. There will be auditions by appointment on Jan. 11–13 in Sydney. Rehearsals will take place from Jan. 15–April 18, followed by performances from April 26–May 4. This is an unpaid gig. Apply here!

Casting is underway for a pop-R&B music video. Five Melbourne-based female actors, aged 18–26, are wanted as background actors in a party scene. “Ditch,” a dystopian play by award-winning playwright Beth Steel, is casting several principal roles. Talent, aged 18–70, is wanted for four roles in the production. There will be auditions by appointment on Jan. 6 and 19 in Sydney. Rehearsals will begin in early February with performances to follow from April 3–13 at Limelight on Oxford in Sydney.
