Now Casting: Disney’s ‘Frozen’ Musical and More

Because we know you still want to build a snowman, in today’s casting notices, the Broadway-bound “Frozen” musical is holding a casting call! We also have three other awesome gigs! Check them out below!

“FROZEN”
Disney is currently casting ensemble roles for its upcoming musical adaptation of “Frozen,” the 2013 mega-hit which brought forth “Let it Go,” among many other Kristen Anderson-Lopez/Robert Lopez tunes. Equity chorus calls will be held on Aug. 16 and 25, with rehearsals slated to run Oct. 24–Nov. 18 in New York City. The production has not yet landed on a director.

“MACGYVER”
CBS series “MacGyver” is looking for background talent. The show, “a reimagining of the classic series, is an action-adventure drama about 20-something Angus ‘Mac’ MacGyver,” is currently shooting through December in Atlanta, Georgia.

“THE SHOW”
Casting is underway for “The Show,” an upcoming feature film from Pathways Productions. The flick, which is actually “a two part feature film for theatrical release in August 2018 (Part I) and August 2019 (Part II),” will rehearse this fall, with production slated for spring 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia and Durham, North Carolina.

“SIMPLE HAPPINESS”
Several roles are sought for an upcoming episode of “Simple Happiness,” a Chinese television show. From Cantine Casting, the project will shoot Aug. 17–23 in New York City.
