“Rottenbury Drive” (alternative title: “Olive Alley”

Dark Horizon Films is seeking talent for “Rottenbury Drive,” a psychological thriller-horror film. Actors, aged 21–90, are wanted for leads and supporting roles in the film. Filming will take place in Portland, Florence, and Eugene, Oregon, on Jan. 5–22. Pay is $150–$350 per day for up to 15 days of work with airfare/transportation, accommodations, meals, and short-term insurance provided.

“This is Water”

Join the cast of “This is Water,” a feature-length coming-of-age drama that follows four interconnecting storylines of five film students during their final year of college. Talent, aged 7–70, is wanted for various day player and background roles in the film. Rehearsals will take place on Dec. 22 and 29 with filming scheduled for Jan. 2–10 in the Los Angeles area. Pay is $125 per day for background actors and $205 per day for day players with meals and craft services provided.

“Desert Highway”

Join the cast of “Desert Highway,” a low-budget horror/thriller about a serial killer and a young woman’s struggle for survival across the desert. Talent, aged 18–80, is wanted for various roles, including the starring roles of Bobbie and The Killer. Rehearsals will take place in January followed by filming in early February in L.A. Pay is $350 per day for up to 12 days of work.

“Going Out for Ice Cream”

The short drama-thriller “Going Out for Ice Cream” is seeking actors, aged 15–45, for leads and supporting roles in the film, including the starring role of John. Filming will take place in December or January in the New York City area. Pay is $125–$300 per day for up to three days of work.
