Burt Reynolds Film to Be Shot in Indiana

West Baden Springs, Ind. (AP) -- Filming is expected to begin in two weeks in southern Indiana on a $3 million movie starring Burt Reynolds.

"Fish in a Barrel" also will feature comedian Alan King and rapper Sarai. It's the first feature-length production by Mike the Pike Films, an independent movie production company started by four Indiana natives.

Mark B. Newbauer, president of Mike the Pike Films and the movie's writer, said "Fish in a Barrel" had been set in summer.

"I'm on my 12th rewrite," he said. "Now it's back to winter."

"Fish in a Barrel" is the story of a poker game gone awry between two men with the same love interest. When the woman becomes the stakes, they decide to settle the bet based on who catches a famous fish in a local lake.
