“ROCK OF AGES”
Renegade Arts Company is casting its upcoming production of the musical “Rock of Ages” at The Metro Theatre. Performers, aged 18–45, are wanted for all roles in the production. There will be auditions in Vancouver on Jan. 19 and 21. Performances will run from June 27–July 6. All roles are paid. Apply here!
“LAYABOUT”
Casting is underway for “Layabout,” a short film centered around the living arrangement between a young man and his father after choosing to leave the Jehovah’s Witness religion he was raised in by his mother. Two male actors, aged 18–55, are wanted to play the main roles of Riley and Marcel. There is an additional supporting role as a landlord for a male actor, aged 55–65. “Snood,” a sci-fi comedy short “that delves in the darkness whilst searching for the light,” is casting a small role. A female actor, aged 18–40, is wanted to play a girlfriend who is a stripper.
