DISNEY’S “THE LITTLE MERMAID”
Silly Stages is casting its production of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid.” Talent, aged 18 and older, is wanted to fill principal and ensemble roles including King Triton. Rehearsals will begin on June 8 in Oshawa, Ontario. Performances run from July 9–14 at Regent Theatre UOIT. All roles are paid. Apply here!

“A NEW LEASH ON LIFE”
Casting is underway for the short comedy “A New Leash on Life,” which follows a magical talking dog who, after one too many rage-filled outbursts, must talk his owner out of having him put down. Female talent, aged 30 or older, is wanted to play the role of Dr. Kübler. Filming will take place in mid-to-late June in Vancouver, British Columbia. Pay is $100 per day. Apply here!

“SCREWBALL COMEDY”
The Royal Canadian Theatre Company is seeking talent for its production of the Norm Foster play “Screwball Comedy.” Talent, aged 20–60, is wanted for several principal and ensemble roles. Auditions will be by appointment on April 26 and 27 in Surrey, British Columbia. Rehearsals will run for two weeks starting on Feb. 10, 2020. Performances will run from March 5–April 25, 2020, in Surrey, New Westminster, Maple Ridge, Coquitlam, Chilliwack, and Vancouver. All roles are paid. Apply here!

“THE MYTH AND THE MUSE”
“The Myth and the Muse,” a live production for Vancouver Opera Festival and Opera Faust, is looking for models, aged 18 and older, to pose throughout the three-hour opera. Performances will take place on April 27, 28, or May 5 at Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver. Pay is $200. Apply here!

“THE COMMUNIST MANIFESTO FOR CHILDREN”
So Much Drama and Aluna Theatre are casting the world premiere of the play “The Communist Manifesto for Children.” Latina/Hispanic female talent, aged 20–35, is wanted to play the role of Gracie, a bourgeois South American girl. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required as is at least three years of professional experience. There will be auditions by appointment on May 10 and 11 in Toronto. Rehearsals will run from Sept. 3–27 and performances will run from Sept. 28–Oct. 13. All roles are paid. Apply here!
