“The Boys”
“The Boys” are back in town! Cast members of the hit Amazon series have been sharing photos on Instagram recently as Season 3 has begun filming. Posing in character as Billy Butcher, Karl Urban shared a photo on Feb. 24, captioned, “Hullo hullo. Day 1 shooting The Boys season 3. So good to be back!” going on to thank the crew for keeping them safe during the pandemic and urging fans to stay tuned for the real goodies” they have lined up for the upcoming season. Additionally, Homelander portrayer Antony Starr shared a selfie with his followers as he dyed his hair his signature blonde. “Season three is underway. I think everyone knew that. But….today, it’s official. For y’all that weren’t aware, the blonde boys bitches are back.”
Filming for Season 3 will continue in Toronto, where recent series addition Jensen Ackles has also been spotted filming as his character Soldier Boy at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The series has also been in the news recently as we reported that a spinoff series is in development. Filming is scheduled to wrap in September 2021. “The Boys” is cast by Ulrich/Dawson/Kritzer.
