The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood is casting talent to entertain park guests. The production is casting male and female talent, aged 18 and older, for acting roles and dancing roles for female talent only. Performers must be able to speak in a specified British dialect for sustained periods of time. Training is in February and March for ongoing seasonal roles. 2019 LIVING SPACES PRESIDENTS DAY COMMERCIAL
Living Spaces, an online furniture retailer, is casting its 2019 Presidents Day commercial. The spot will be broadcast on television and available digitally from Feb. 4–24 in Phoenix, Arizona, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego, California, Las Vegas, Nevada and Austin and San Antonio, Texas. Talent will also be featured in a still photography series shot alongside the commercial. The stills will be featured on social media and on the Living Spaces website. The production is casting male and female talent, aged 35–40, to play a mom and dad, plus young male talent, aged 8–10, and young female talent, aged 5–8, to play a brother and sister as part of the family. A production of the musical “Mixtape” is casting actors with strong singing voices, aged 18 and older. Available roles for female talent include Claire, a popular girl, and Allison, a basket case, with ranges from B below middle C to high D (Claire) or high E (Allison). The role of Jake, a dreamboat, is available for male talent with a range from D below middle C to G above middle C.
