BILL HANNEY’S THEATRE BY THE SEA 2019 SEASON
Bill Hanney’s Theatre by the Sea in Matunuck, Rhode Island is casting Equity actors, singers, and dancers for its 2019 season. The season includes “Love and Other Fables,” “Singin’ in the Rain,” Disney’s “Newsies,” and “Saturday Night Fever.” Roles are available in the cast and as understudies for actors, singers, and dancers (strong tappers a plus), aged 18–66. Talent will be paid $515 per week under an Equity LOA Contract ref. to COST. An Equity Principal Audition is scheduled for Feb. 11 and an Equity Chorus Call is scheduled for Feb. 12 in New York City. Totem Pole Playhouse in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania is casting Equity actors for roles in its 2019 season. The Porthouse Theatre in Kent, Ohio is casting Equity actors and singers for its upcoming 2019 season. The season includes “Man of La Mancha,” “Tintypes,” and “The Music Man.” Roles are available for male and female talent, aged 18 and older. NEBRASKA SHAKESPEARE ON THE GREEN 2019 SEASON
Shakespeare on the Green is casting its 2019 season. Productions of “All’s Well That Ends Well” with an all-female cast and “Hamlet” with a 50-50 split between male and female performers will be performed in repertory. Leading and supporting roles are available for performers, aged 20–65. All rehearsals and performances will take place in Omaha, Nebraska. Shakespeare on the Green employs both Equity U/RTA Agreements and nonunion contracts. However, union contracts are available only to female performers with roles in both casts. The Forestburgh Playhouse is seeking Equity stage managers to serve as the resident PSM for its 2019 summer season. The season rehearses and runs in Forestburgh, New York, and includes the shows “Mystery of Irma Vep,” “Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story,” “Me and My Girl,” “Hair,” “Priscilla Queen of the Desert,” “The Producers,” and “Venus in Fur.” Stage managers will be paid $672 per week under an Equity LOA reference to COST Contract. THE AMERICAN MIME THEATRE 2019 SEASON
The American Mime Theatre is casting one role for its 2019 season. The director describes American Mime as a new art form and talent must have good acting skills with motivated movement. The theater is casting the role of Intolerant for a Caucasian or ethnically ambiguous male performer, aged 27–32.
