CASTING ALERT: Join HBO’s ‘I Know This Much Is True’ Starring Mark Ruffalo + More Auditions for Young Talent

You can find lots of great opportunities for kids this week. The HBO series “I Know This Much Is True” is casting fraternal twins. Plus, an eight-episode series for Showtime needs talent for a leading role and more!

I KNOW THIS MUCH IS TRUE
The HBO series “I Know This Much Is True,” starring Mark Ruffalo, is looking for Native American fraternal twins, male and female, aged 8–10, for supporting roles. An open casting call is scheduled on April 28 in New York City. Shooting will take place in NYC though dates have not yet been scheduled. Talent will be paid $1,015 per day. Apply here!

“THE GOOD LORD BIRD”
An eight-episode series for Blumhouse TV-Showtime is seeking black male talent, aged 11–16, to play Onion, a young slave boy. “The Good Lord Bird” follows the character as he is swept into abolitionist John Brown’s campaign to start a race war against the pro-slavers of the Kansas territory circa 1858. Shooting will take place in Virginia tentatively starting on July 10. Talent will be paid union rates under the terms of a SAG-AFTRA contract. Apply here!

NORTH LAKE TAHOE PHOTO/VIDEO SHOOT
A photo and video shoot wants male and female talent, aged 8–14, for modeling. The two-day shoot will have talent ice skating, making s’mores, playing in the snow with sleds and snowmen, and playing games in a cabin all as part of a family. Shooting will take place in North Lake Tahoe, California from April 11–12. Each role pays up to $100 a day plus meals. Apply here!

“FORCED PARENTHOOD”
A satirical comedy sketch for online distribution, “Forced Parenthood,” is looking for male and female talent, aged 1–6, for ensemble roles. The sketch advocates for a woman’s right to choose and pokes fun at politicians. Talent should be comfortable with the subject matter. The production needs talent to play brothers and sisters in a large family with ages spaced out. Individuals or groups of kids are welcome to apply.
