“The Other Two” (HBO Max)

The HBO Max comedy series “The Other Two” is seeking talent, aged 18 and older, for background roles. Talent will play red carpet types including models, celebrities, reporters, and influencers. Talent with suitable wardrobes are encouraged to apply. Shooting will take place Sept. 27–30 in New York City. Talent will be paid $165–$187 for an eight- to 10-hour day.

“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”

The Amazon Prime series “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” is looking for female talent, aged 18–45, for background roles. Talent will portray bar patrons in the 1960s, and the production wants glamorous ladies and bombshells. Talent must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and must have natural hair colors and a period-appropriate haircut. Shooting will take place Sept. 28 in New York. Talent will be paid $210 for an 12-hour shoot, plus $60 for COVID-19 testing (or SAG rates).

“The Human Taxidermist”

The mockumentary series “The Human Taxidermist” is looking for talent. The show follows a young man who starts a business preserving clients’ loved ones. The production wants male talent, aged 30–80, to play the body of a pop singer; male talent, aged 18–40, to play the body of a skater bro; plus more. Roles require holding a pose for an extended period of time. Shooting will take place Oct. 3–4 in New York City. Talent will be paid $200 for a five-hour shoot.

Soap Television Commercial

A television commercial for a men’s soap is seeking female talent, aged 30–40. Talent will portray a confident and sophisticated woman. Shooting will take place in late September–early October in the NYC area. Talent will be paid $500 for a 10-hour day.

“Girls’ Night Out”

A commercial for a local food chain wants female talent, aged 21–35. Talent will play one of three friends who are enjoying a frozen drinks and barbecue while toasting a friend over live chat who is enjoying the same frozen drink at home via delivery. Talent with social influencer experience is encouraged to apply. The spot will be shown on social media and at AMC theaters. Shooting will take place Sept. 28 in New York City. Talent will be paid $325 for a three-hour shoot.

Restaurant Spec Ad

A series of spec ads for a restaurant client is looking for female talent, aged 35–45. Talent will play a restaurant employee and will be shown behind the register while talking to a customer. Shooting will take place in Hawthorne, New Jersey. Talent will be paid $500 for a four-hour shoot.

“Bacaro”

The fantasy series “Bacaro” is seeking Black male talent for two roles. The show is about an African-influenced world of warring kingdoms, dark magic, and an ancient evil returning from the past. The production wants male talent, aged 45–55, to play the counselor Methenge; and Black male talent with a beard and some grey hair, aged 45–55 and 6' or taller with a muscular build, to play Commander Burago. Shooting will take place Sept. 25 in Princeton, New Jersey. Talent will be paid $150 for a five-hour shoot.

“Jessica”

The short horror film “Jessica” wants female talent, aged 18–30, for the principal role. Talent will play Jessica, a self-conscious first-time vlogger whose identity is compromised by a mysterious unseen force. Rehearsals will take place virtually, with shooting Nov. 4–6 in the Connecticut area. Talent will be paid $150 per day for a three-day shoot, plus travel, lodging, and meals.

Lingraphica Devices Photo Shoot

A photo shoot for ACC communication devices by Lingraphica wants modeling talent. The production is seeking Black and multiethnic male talent, aged 35–55, to play a person with aphasia; as well as talent of any gender and ethnicity, aged 35–55, to play a caregiver. Shooting will take place in late September in the Princeton, New Jersey area. Talent will be paid $250 for a six-hour shoot, plus meals and reimbursement for mileage.

“Claire”

The feature film “Claire” is looking for talent, aged 18–75, for background roles. Talent will portray pedestrians at Grand Central Station. Talent must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Wardrobe fittings will be held Sept. 20–30, with shooting on Oct. 3 in NYC. Talent must test for COVID-19 on Sept. 30, and will be paid $165 for a 10-hour shoot.
