CASTING ALERT: Remotely Record Voiceover for an Internal Business Video + More Roles in Texas and the South

There are lots of great opportunities this week in Texas and the South. An internal business video is casting voiceover talent for remote work. Plus, a short film, a college financial aid commercial, and more are looking for talent.

An internal business video wants voiceover talent for remote work. Talent, aged 30 and older, is wanted for three roles. The production wants talent that can speak English with any non-American accent. All recording will be done remotely with dates TBD. Talent will be paid $150. There is no buyout fee as of this time, but if the video goes into distribution rates will be negotiated. Apply here! 

An online commercial for a high-quality mental healthcare brand is looking for talent to speak about anxiety and depression on-camera. The production wants BIPOC female talent, aged 30–45, and male talent, aged 25–35. All shooting will be done remotely from the talent’s home with dates TBD. Talent will be paid $100. Apply here!

The short film “Elephants Don’t Forget” is seeking talent. The film is about an Indian man who must overcome his childhood drama of being bullied because of his race. The production wants Black male talent, aged 50–65, to play the principal’s assistant Michael, South Asian or Indian male talent, aged 35–45, to play the physician Dr. Patel, South Asian or Indian male talent, aged 50–70, to play the principal’s father, as well as roles for young talent and background roles for talent, aged 13–45. Shooting will take place for 3–4 days in December 2020–January 2021 in Houston, TX. COVID-19 guidelines will be followed on set. The Haute Street, a new real estate marketing company, is seeking male and female hosts, aged 18–30. Talent will film 15–20 minute house tours for YouTube. Talent must have hosting experience, strong English skills, confidence presenting to an affluent market, and be well dressed, as well as ideally having knowledge of real estate and/or architecture. A YouTube ad series of one-minute videos focused on kitchen remodeling needs talent in their mid-40s to early 50s. Talent will record remotely ASAP and must have the proper equipment. Recording will be done with a green screen. Talent will be paid $100–$150. Apply here!

An online social media commercial wants talent, aged 18–27. Talent will play excited new college students finding out they’ve received financial aid. Filming is in Austin, TX, with ongoing shoots for new talent. Talent will be paid $50 per hour. Apply here!

The feature film “Milk Man” is seeking talent. The story is about a botched drug deal that goes bad for a sexually curious misfit, causing his life in college to fall apart as he is pursued by a white supremacist gang. The film is tightly plotted but requires improvisation for the dialogue. The film wants Black, Middle Eastern, Hispanic, or Latino male talent, aged 22–35, transgender female talent, aged 22–44, and more. Auditions can be done either in person or through a self-tape from the provided script. Rehearsals are on dates TBD with shooting from January–February, all in New Orleans, LA.
