An actor who can play the violin is preferred for the role of Sharla. There will be an audition by appointment on Oct. 26 in New York City, followed by a table read on Nov. 1 and rehearsals and filming on Nov. 7–8 at night. The Investigation Discovery true-crime series “Evil Lives Here” is casting an upcoming episode. Talent, aged 5–45, is wanted for multiple roles in the episode, including the lead role of Luke Hill, a man lacking self-discipline from an early age who is led down a dark, isolated path as an adult. The episode will shoot over three or four days during the week of Nov. 5 in the NYC and New Jersey area. Pay is $65 per half day or $182 per full day, depending on the role. Apply here!
“MIDWINTER NIGHT LIVE”
“Midwinter Night Live,” a joint Chinese and American feature film intended for Netflix and theater distribution, is now casting lead roles. Three actors, aged 18–70, are wanted to play the roles of Celina, an international aid activist working in NYC, William, a Chinese investigative journalist, and Sze, a former army colonel and drunkard. Rehearsals will take place in Los Angeles and Orange County, California, followed by filming in California, Shanghai, and Fenghuang, dates TBD.
