The production is casting the lead and supporting roles of Trent, a functional drug addict, for an Asian male actor who is ideally Korean, aged 27–35, Krystal, a free-spirit, for Latina/Hispanic female talent, aged 27–35, Brenda, a mentally ill woman with low self-esteem, for African American, African, or ethnically ambiguous female talent, aged 27–35, Francois, an abusive anti-feminist, for a Caucasian, Latino/Hispanic, or ethnically ambiguous male actor, aged 30–50, and Vivianne, a caring woman in a one-sided relationship, for a Caucasian, African American, African, Asian, or ethnically ambiguous female actor, aged 27–35. MEDICAL SIMULATIONS
A series of online medical simulations is casting roles for two patients. The production is seeking talent to play the leading roles of Jane, for female talent, aged 50–65, with a British accent, and a target BMI of 26.5, and Howard for male talent, aged 50–70, with a non-American accent and a BMI of 27.2. A non-white actor is preferred. Lines will be delivered by reading off a teleprompter. Shooting will take place in early January in Durham, North Carolina. Talent will be paid $360, not including an agent fee, for a half-day shoot, with lunch provided.
